Aesthetica is a short film festival which is BAFTA recognized taking place in York and online virtually throughout November 2021. Incorporating this into a book cover and the idea of illegibility was proven a task. Overlaying text is a prime convention of deconstruction but the festival is seemingly extremely professional. The main focus is the text so minimal images are used and the colour – if any – is always subtle.
