Looking at illegibility and deconstruction, our brief was to create a postcard for a fictitious degree show ‘Exit Velocity .22’. This show is to take place on University of Hull campus in a building of our choice; we had a chance to explore the grunge style in our own way as it is a very slim brief. The dimensions fo the postcard is 148mm x 105mm and the event is taking place in June 2022. As a person, we mostly scan texts first and recognise words at a glance. So text may seem unintelligible at first, but it can be read and our brains can fill in the gaps. Below is my attempt at an illegible postcard for this event in the hopes that the information can still get across to the reader.
