Intent to produce an Inclusive and Informative Platform

I intend to produce an informative campaign that can be explored by females of all ages that inspires them to aspire to proceed with a career within motorsport. This campaign will be predominantly social media based with a companion website and app feed. All assets of the project will maintain consistent branding and focus on displaying an accessible user experience. I will refer to existing campaigns within the industry to help relate my content to the user.

For the social media aspect of the project, I will be creating profiles and posts for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. These posts will provide informative information based on (but not exclusive to) getting involved within the sport, talking to professionals who have worked in motorsport, and newsfeed updates on achievements females are consistently having as a driver or employee. When we look at TikTok as a platform, I must ensure that the account is further providing posts relating to recent trends to ensure I can reach a wider audience. Each post will be seamless between platforms and use the correct conventions relating to the type of media. The bio for each platform will also promote the use of the companion website and app for further information on the campaign which will guarantee the seamless user experience approach. Below you can see a rough example of a mind-map with concept ideas that I will refer back to when producing the content for my project. This contains my initial planning with extremely rough solutions.

Moving onto the website and companion app, this will be the centre source for all the information that the user can find. Typically, a company’s website will be the main point of contact for any questions or queries that the audience may have. I want to provide the content in a way that can be easily accessed but also provides an experience for the user with a unique design concept. An example of this may be similar to this website UI idea created by Zoltan Czekmany. It displays a clever design layout and colour scheme that entices the demographic to explore the page. I want to base my website homepage on a compelling experience that will make the user want more.

The companion app will in theory be a condensed version of the website explained above. The only difference will be the responsive layout for the phone screen size and an area which allows the user to sign in with an account. This allows the audience to have exclusive insights on activity sessions and will create a safe environment for females to feel included and see that there are a lot of people with the same passions. Below you can see again a sketch of some brainstorming which I have concluded to help me create some names for my final brand. I have also included a few logo versions of the top names I produced to ensure that I have options when thinking what will become the most effective for my final project.

Obviously, it will be a big challenge to get everything completed within the small 8 month timeframe that I am working with, but I am ambitious that it will succeed nonetheless. If I wanted my project to follow suit with previously mentioned existing campaigns and provide for a large following, the growth of awareness within content and practical events would take approximately 2 years to solidify. A finalised campaign with statistical success and brand recognition globally would be completed within 5 years.
