In the male-dominated world of motorsport, the roar of the engines has long drowned out the voices of women pursuing a profession within. Therefore, I am aiming to inspire females interested in the industry and voice the opinions from this silent revolution. This project is fuelled by the determination of women who refuse to be relegated to the side lines, who defy expectations, and who challenge the status quo with every lap that is traced.
Fuelling Females is a bold social media initiative dedicated to amplifying the presence of females within the exhilarating world of motorsport. Embark on this exciting journey to shatter stereotypes, break barriers, and celebrate the remarkable achievements of women who dare to chase their dreams at over 200 miles per hour. I will be following a concise line of project management objectives which will remind me of the reason behind why I am so passionate about women following their passions in motorsport.
Join me as I introduce ethical, forward-thinking concepts to reveal the untold stories of female drivers, engineers, mechanics, and enthusiasts through attainable content using effective visual design. Through the lends of social media and web design, I invite you to witness their triumphs, share their struggles, and champion their cause for equality both on and off the track. To be able to implement this effective graphic message, I will explore relevant design history and researched concepts to provide evidence and reasoning behind design choices that I make.
Throughout this project, I delve into the significance of representation within motorsport, explore the challenges faced by women in a historically exclusionary environment, and outline the graphic strategies employed by Fuelling Females to spark conversation, inspire change, and pave the way for a more inclusive future.
