Calling Card

The Rodchenko/Franz Ferdinand album cover concept heavily involves the use of triangulation and the type layout consists of plenty right angles and diagonals. It conceptually ‘supports’ the structure of the image which went on to inspire the famous Bauhaus movement. Using this graphic concept, a personal calling card was created to experiment with geometric shapes and the use of type to form structure to the composition. It consists of different shapes laid out to form easy communication of information in a typeface that conforms the constructivist approach.

The calling card from which uses a triangulation approach to follow in suit with the Franz Ferdinand album cover.
