This piece is practice for working on using swatches in Adobe Illustrator. The swatch panel is the software has many uses including colour groups, switching between fill/stroke, and saving or loading swatches. Our main goal was to use a minimum of 5 swatches and add them to our libraries. The basis was to create a design regarding what I love. This relates to the famous I Love NY graphic that plasters city centres and tourist attractions. I took to Illustrator with the thought of how much I love my cats back at home and decided to carry this out in my design.
The 5 colour swatches were saved and added to my swatch library so that in future, if I want to create similar graphics, I can use the exact colours on similar compositions.
