Thinking about fun and exciting patterns, the Fete de la Musique in France which took place on the 21st June 2008, has a very unique pattern as the background which combines colours of the rainbow music notes arranged which a black foreground. Think music symbol can be recognised linking to the music festival and is taken further used to appear in an abstract way. The image is portrayed below:

Using this image, our task was to create a banner for Big Sing & Little Big Sing taking place in Bridlington 2022. The size of the art-board advert is 1200 x 400 (RGB) and all the information that needed to be included was given to us already. The key focus for this activity was practicing layering and overprinting which is shown effective for the music festival poster above. Big Sing & Little Big Sing uses the same concepts of music as their main focus, so I carried on with the ideas from the French poster but added my own personal twist.
